Grandview Drive – “World’s Most Beautiful Drive” [Pics]

Grandview Drive is located in Peoria and Peoria Heights, Illinois. A good portion of the two and a half mile drive gives a wonderful view of the Illinois river and beautiful historic homes. A large amount of land is owned by the Peoria Park District. Theodore Roosevelt names it the “World’s Most Beautiful Drive” in a 1910 visit.

    If you really want a beautiful drive you should try The Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

    Another beautiful drive is New Hampshire’s Kangamangus Highway in the White Mountain Natonal Forest! Absolutely breathtaking mountain views!
